Honoring Chris: Support for Caden's Future

On behalf of the family, we are requesting donations to help support Brandi and Caden as they navigate this challenging time. To help ease the financial burden during this difficult period and ensure a stable future for Caden, we kindly ask for monetary donations in lieu of flowers.

"July 2, 2024. The hardest day of my life. We lost a best friend, husband, amazing dad, brother, son, cousin, grandson, along with many other titles. It's so surreal that someone you love so much can be taken away so fast. No notice. No chance for a goodbye. There's so many plans we had and things we didn't get to experience together. I will always cherish the almost nine years we've spent together, nearly two of those married. No one tells you that little dash between the birth and death dates hold oh so many memories and can mean so much.

"The best gift Chris ever gave me was Caden. They absolutely adored each other so much. Caden will always know how amazing his dad was and how much Chris loved him. How much he cared for Caden and was looking forward to each milestone and the future ahead as a new family. He wanted Caden to grow up to play professional golf so he would earn a bunch of money and take care of us. Caden will always know all about his daddy. We will keep the memories and stories alive. Caden will know how caring, funny, intelligent, and loving Chris was. He will be taught to play backyard golf, cook, enjoy everyday things, hate the Rockies, and love just like Chris. If Caden is anything like Chris, he will be full of all kinds of random knowledge and facts, always want to light the fireworks, and love hard.

"He had so many dreams and aspirations ahead of him, yet we can only continue to hold onto the many wonderful memories we've each created alongside him. My love for Chris can't possibly be summed up in only these words or within the many pictures I will cherish forever. He was an amazing friend, husband, and dad. I will miss him forever. Everyday and every moment. I will miss him for Caden. All the new milestones he will experience with Chris looking down on us rather than experience first hand alongside us. But I knew he wouldn't want everyone to be sad for too long. He'd want everyone to remember all the great times we shared together, dry tears and move forward even though that seems impossible right now. Each new hug from a loved one brings back so many tears and memories. It's so so hard. But we will be okay, eventually.
