Honoring Colby Hayes: Help with Final Costs and Funeral

Hello, my name is Linda Hayes. My husband and I were told today that our son, Colby Hayes, passed away yesterday.

He was a wonderful son, brother, and father. He left behind 3 kids that he loved very much, 2 sisters, and 3 brothers along with myself and his father, Daniel Hayes. He had nieces and nephews that loved him very much. His death was very unexpected. We love him very much and miss him; his children are so upset.

He was a Purple Heart recipient in the USMC. He did a tour where he was wounded and came home to us with PTSD and a TBI. He has really had to deal with the demons from that. But in the last 6 to 8 months, he was doing so much better. But his heart contained so much trauma that he tried but just couldn’t do it anymore.

So, with a heavy heart, we are hoping to get some help with his funeral and last expenses.

Danny and I want to say thank you to all who have loved Colby. He was a great son. I don’t know how we are going to get through this. Thank you.
