Honoring Colin Crocker
Donation protected
Colin loved cars his whole life. As his friends knew, "The Mini" was better than any other car on the road. He took great pride in owning and maintaining his car and was adamant about clean windows. "For heaven's sake, keep your fingers off the glass!"
In keeping with Colin's true love, all donations will go to the Placer High School Auto Shop Program, run by Al Angulo, a kindred spirit Mini owner, to be used to purchase a wheel balancing machine in Colin's memory. This gift echos the giving nature of the young man that he was and will enable more young people to pursue their passion in auto mechanics.
Colin's legacy will be ongoing. Students will be able to learn and grow their skills in a field he was passionate about, and he will indirectly be encouraging, engaging and supporting a dream that he also had.
Colin's heart was full of love and laughter for his family and friends. He was a dedicated son, brother, grandson and nephew and the most loyal of friends. His quirky sense of humor, massive Lego collection and adoration for his cat, Ahsoka, just make him loved all the more. He was so excited to be a Del Oro senior and "own" a coveted parking spot. And own a spot he will, allowing his closest friends to remember him daily by parking there.
