Honoring Connie Miller

There are people who change your life by their presence ... they bring joy, laughter, share your burdens, and help you make your way through what life throws at you. Connie was one of those people for me, for her kids, and for many others.  The last several years have been very difficult for her in many ways - several health challenges and then the loss of her soulmate last year and ultimately this last round of respiratory issues were too much ... As a child, I expect to bury my parents one day and we have buried my dad, but you don’t expect to do that while you are still young and have young children of your own.  I am asking that people who had the joy of knowing Connie and having the blessing of her in their lives help her children give her a proper closing to a life well lived.  Connie requested no funeral, but a Memorial celebration will be held to honor and celebrate her life in the next few months.  The funds raised will be used for the cremation of her remains and purchasing of an urn.
