Honoring Cory Rogers: A Hero's Legacy

My name is Randi Buck, my son Cory Vernon Rogers was murdered on the 9th of February and I would let everyone know the real reason why he was stabbed to death by Daniel Metcalf. All the news that you read about this murder is that 2 roommates got into a fight and Daniel Metcalf, a known child molester stabbed my son to death . First of all my son only knew this man for 3 days. Cory was going to stay with the man and woman who were renting the place to help them clean it out because it was a real dump and Cory wanted to honor his word and help clean it up because he had known this man for a long time and thought he was his friend, and they knew Cory would work till it was done. Everything was fine with my son until he ran into a friend of his and told him that Daniel was a child molester, unregistered and that he molested a 3 year old a 12 year old and there's no telling how many more. There was nothing Cory hated more than a child molester. This monster went into my son's room and they started arguing and my son punched him in the eye and got him on the ground where this monster couldn't overpower my son because obviously the only thing he could overpower was little children, so the monster pulled out a knife and stabbed my son 6, but I know it will be a lot more times then that. My son managed to stand up and struggled down the hallway and told the woman Daniel stabbed me, I think I m dying. NO ONE called an ambulance for my son, they didn't even call 911 until he was dead and tried to clean everything up, when the police came there were towels covered in blood and bleach. What I want everyone to know the truth about why my son died because you can find this story all over the Internet, all you have to look for is Cory Rogers stabbed to death, auburn Alabama. But all they say is that they got into a fight and I want people to know Cory died a violent death, but it wasn't about anything but those children that Daniel Metcalf molested. Cory fought for the children he had already destroyed and he fought for all the children he would have eventually molested. It could have been your little girl or your little boy, your niece, your nephew, your little sister or brother or your 3 year old grandchild. This monster is 34 years old, if he had not been stopped there's no telling how many children would have suffered and had their lives changed forever. My son had a hard life but he also had a heart of gold and I have to believe that's why he died that night, he went out fighting for the thing he hated more than anything in this world and that was a child molester. So I wanted everyone to know the truth, that it wasn't just a fight over nothing, it was a fight for all the children that had already suffered by the hands of this monster but he fought so that no more children would ever have to look into the eyes of this monster ever again. This was something that I wanted everyone to know, it was the least I could do for my son. He had a hard life and a violent death but my son went out of this world a HERO!!

I m collecting donations because my sister and my brother in law and my mom had to pay for everything and have always been there for me and I would like to be able to give them anything I can because they always help so many people and I would love to be able to give them something back.
