On November 4, 2023, the Kamibayashi family was struck by a heartbreaking loss. Dale, their "Rock," their Padre, Big Kahuna, and Dale-san, left us way too soon. Dale faced a sudden abdominal aortic aneurysm, and despite a lengthy and courageous battle in surgery, he could not overcome the damage to his system. He was a beloved husband, father, brother, uncle, cousin, friend, and colleague, known for his heart of gold.
Dale's roots were firmly planted in Denver, where he was born and raised, attended Ranum High School, and graduated from the University of Colorado on a baseball scholarship. His love for CU athletics and his dedication to the Letterman's Club demonstrated his unwavering support for his alma mater. Dale's professional life was devoted to the natural and organic movement, impacting the industry on local, state, and national levels. In 2019, he received Naturally Boulder's "Industry Leader/Community Champion" award, a testament to his significant contributions. His legacy is one of respect, kindness, and the gift of undivided attention to everyone he met. He was a true gem, and the lessons he shared continue to shine through the lives of the countless people he touched.
Now, we ask you to kindly to give back in his honor. With your generous contributions, we can help the Kamibayashi family cover the medical bills, funeral expenses, end-of-life costs, and reduce the financial burden faced by Dale's grieving wife, Lisa. Your support will provide her with some relief during this difficult time, allowing her the space to grieve and remember the extraordinary man she lost too soon.
Dale, while in his managerial roles, had a reputation of always finding a way to meet the donation request of non-profits, no matter how big or small. He would say, ‘Yes, we will find a way." We deeply appreciate any contribution you can make, and kindly share this post with those who may want to lend a helping hand. Lisa is overwhelmed with gratitude for the support she has received. Thank you for coming together to honor the memory of this remarkable man, Dale Kamibayashi.
