Honoring Dallas Campbell: Support His Family
Donation protected
Hi, my name is Scott and I'm a lifelong friend of Dallas Campbell who recently died after battling cancer for 5 years. He was an amazing and inspiring guy. In the 5 years battling cancer, not once did I hear him complain. He may have made jokes about himself but always kept an upbeat amazing attitude and he was an inspiration to everyone who had the privilege of meeting him.
Dallas grew up in a small community in Tremonton, Utah with is family and 5 siblings. He went to Utah State University and graduated from Cal State Fullerton with a degree in History where he got his teaching credentials. He later became a valued member of the Olpin Group overseeing design and engineering. He was a dedicated, funny and cheerful individual who always made us laugh. He loved his wife Laurie and children Madeleine, Emily and Nathan and has 3 grandchildren who he absolutely adored.
In the 44 years I knew Dallas, I never once heard him speak unkindly of anyone and that tells you what a wonderful man he was. In the early 1980's, Dallas and I build 10 affordable housing units on the island of Molokai where he taught me to build as well as other life lessons before we got into designing storage solutions for business, museums and industrial applications. Dallas loved to read, ride his bike, windsurf and sail.
We ask for donations in lieu of flowers to help his family cover burial and funeral expenses so they aren't burdened at this time. Any and all donations would be greatly appreciated.
