Honoring Dani Hernandez: A Life Full of Joy

Dear family, friends, and members of our community,

On the early morning of July 12th in Hercules, CA, our beloved Daniel "Dani" Hernandez was tragically taken from this world far too soon. As we grieve this unfathomable loss, we are reminded of the fragility of life and are grateful for the countless joyful memories we shared with Dani.

There are people who enter your life and you immediately know that they are special. Dani was one of those people, bringing an infectious energy to everyone he met. A kind soul with a pure heart who always had a smile on his face accompanied by his warm energy that could cure anything.

He was a devoted father, a son, a brother, dear friend, and a person who touched the lives of many with his kindness and love.

We were blessed to know Dani and want to give him the memorial he deserves. To honor his memory, funds raised will assist with funeral arrangements and additional costs to support his daughter and family.

Whether you are in the classroom at UC Berkeley, on the pitch at Lupine, in the outdoors or having a meal with your friends & family, Dani will live with us forever in our hearts.

In the meantime, we are holding a Candlelight Vigil for Dani on Saturday, July 20th @ 6pm till dusk/ sunset at Woodfield Park: 1919 Lupine Rd. Hercules, CA 94547. The family kindly requests to wear white.
