David E. Dixon Obituary
David E. Dixon, 67, of New London, passed away Tuesday, September 3, 2024 at Fisher-Titus Medical Center after a lengthy illness.

He was born on March 10,1957 in Huntington, West Virginia to Ray and Doris (Martin) Dixon.

David graduated from Edison High School in 1975. He was a member of the Hartland community church, and a member of the Eagles. He was a veteran of the National Guard who proudly served his country. He was employed at Armstrong for 20 years. He attended Terra Tech for his CDL. In his spare time, he enjoyed hunting, fishing, watching fireworks, old western movies, and spending time with his family. His greatest joy was spending time with his grandchildren. He loved taking his grandchildren for rides on his motorcycle, it brought great joy seeing them smile. The long rides brought him freedom. He had nothing but unconditional love for his family. He was married for 46 years. He was a wise man who always had the best advice. He was truly a best friend and role model to us all. He always found those moments to make us laugh, especially when we needed it the most. Some fond memories of him were, telling the grandkids to go to the clubhouse when wanting them outside. When it was just a group of trees. He got a good laugh out of it. They loved when their Pawpaw would ride them around in his tractor. Just spending time with him meant so much to all of us. He was one of the greatest men we have ever known, and so blessed to have had all the years we did with him. He will be missed dearly, but his memories with us will live on forever. He is at peace, and now with the Lord and all our loved ones who have passed on. To infinity and beyond, we love you more
