Honoring Dean Miller & Supporting Leighan

Hi, my name is Lisa Wheeler, a friend of Dean Miller and Leighan White-Miller. I am raising funds to honor Dean and support Leighan through this difficult time. As many of you may have already heard, we are all heartbroken by Dean’s passing, leaving behind his loving wife, Leighan and their cherished dogs, Clover, and Daisy.

Together Dean and Leighan, were one of the most dynamic duos. They are the most loyal and thoughtful friends, who have always gone out of their way to make you feel special, no matter the occasion. If you were having a birthday, Dean and Leighan would sneak in to decorate your yard or car. If you needed help with your bike or doing something handy, Dean would be there in a hot second. There is nothing you could have ever asked Dean for help with that he wouldn’t show up at the crack of dawn or after a long day at work to help you with. He was always Mr. Reliable to his family, his friends, and his employer.

There is no one who knew and loved Dean who will not be greatly impacted by his loss. Dean and Leighan have helped so many of us in our time of need. Now, it’s our turn to help Leighan as she deals with the loss of Dean.

Many of you have reached out and asked how you can help Leighan during this time. Leighan is understandably shocked by this loss. We would like to show our support to Leighan during this difficult time by helping her cover unexpected expenses. Please know that your kindness is much appreciated as she navigates through her heartbreak. I kindly ask, if you can, to please donate funds towards Leighan’s expenses.

Dean was truly a wonderful, kind, and hilarious person that put a smile on everyone's faces every day. His loss will be greatly felt by Leighan, his family, his coworkers, his friends, and the Class Cycles and Thrive communities. Visitation for family and friends will be held on Saturday, June 3, 2023, at Miller-Ward Funeral Home from 11:00 am to 3:00 pm. A Memorial Service in memory of Dean will take place at 2:30 pm. Please come and share your stories and memories of a wonderful man whose loss will leave a great hole in all our hearts.
