Honoring Deana's Final Wishes

With heavy hearts, we share that our beautiful mother, Deana, passed away unexpectedly at the age of 58. She was taken from us far too soon.

In accordance with her wishes, Deana chose to donate her body to science, so that even in death she could contribute to the education of future doctors and nurses. Afterward, her wish was for her cremated remains to be planted at the base of a weeping willow tree, her absolute favorite, so that we could visit and remember her in a peaceful place that held special meaning for her.

Deana leaves behind four children, one of whom is in their first year of college at the age of 19. Tragically, their father also passed away in 2021 after a lengthy illness.

Any donations made will go toward honoring Deana’s final wishes. Should additional funds be received, they will help support her children as they navigate this difficult transition without her.
