Honoring Debbie Lyles: Support Her Memorial

Donation protected

Deborah Lyles
On October 25, 2024 Debbie was the victim of domestic violence.  She was fatally wounded by her fiancé, who then took his own life. She is survived by her daughter Emily Molander.
Debbie served in the U.S. Army for 31 years and 8 months from October 9, 1990 to November 30, 2022, and retired on December 1, 2022 as a Master Sergeant.
Debbie (MSG Lyles) was adored by the Soldiers and leaders wherever she served, and was a friend to everyone she met. She was generous to a fault with her time and her love. She will be sorely missed by all.
She was a Sexual Harassment and Assault Victim Advocate, and a Suicide prevention/response coordinator. She was a dedicated and fierce advocate for those who could not speak for or help themselves.
Sadly the family cannot locate a will, or life insurance policy to cover the costs following her untimely death.  Any assistance and help would be greatly appreciated. A memorial service date and location will be announced in the near future as the family navigates this process.

Please send any pictures, messages or memories you would like to like to share to:

During this incredibly difficult time, we want to support Emily in any way we can. No one should have to face such a heartbreaking loss alone, and your help can make a meaningful difference. Let's come together to ease this burden and uplift her during her time of need. Please consider contributing to this GoFundMe and sharing this message so that Emily can lay her mother to rest and begin her healing journey.

EDIT:

Debbie's inner circle included an Air Force JAG, a Casualty Affairs Officer, and a Personnelist. After checking all resources, unfortunately the benefits available are very limited. We are grateful for suggestions, however we have exhausted the available options before resorting to creating the GoFundMe.

UPDATE:
Debbie's memorial service will be held on Monday November 11th, 2024 @ 11:00 AM at The Butterfly Pavillon, 4111 New Hope Church Road, Acworth GA 30102.
