Honoring Derek: A Legacy of Love and Service

On Sunday October 6, 2024 our family suffered an unimaginable loss. Our beloved Derek Tec gained his wings after suffering a tragic accident, leaving his family heartbroken.

Derek was a United States Marine and held a position in the Orange County Sheriff’s Office. He was a dedicated and hardworking young man who deeply loved his family, friends and those who knew him. He was only 24 years old with a full life and dreams ahead of him.

We were not prepared for this tragic loss, therefore we kindly ask for your support to provide him with a proper farewell and to bring him back to Texas to his mother/family. He was in California, working and trying to build a future for his family. Any amount will be deeply appreciated. If you can’t donate, we ask that you please keep our family in your prayers and if you can kindly share.
