Honoring Dora: A Farewell for a Brave Soul

It is with great sadness that we acknowledge the tragic loss of a vibrant and beloved young individual. Dora, as she was affectionately known, was a bright and humorous presence, cherished by all who knew her. Her life was senselessly cut short by gun violence, a devastating occurrence that has left an unfillable void. Dora's bravery and loyalty were exemplary, as evidenced by her ultimate sacrifice in defense of herself. Had she not been taken from us prematurely, she would have celebrated her 16th birthday next month and begun her high school journey. The unfairness of her passing is a painful reminder of the fragility of life.

As the youngest member of our group, Dora's loss is deeply felt, and we are compelled to emphasize the urgent need for responsible gun ownership and safety practices. Our children deserve the opportunity to fulfill their potential and realize the plans God has for them. Dora will be profoundly missed, and we are currently seeking support to ensure that she receives a dignified farewell. The funds collected will be allocated towards supplies and items needed guaranteeing that she is laid to rest with the respect and care she deserves. Though her departure is heartbreaking, we take comfort in knowing that she will continue to watch over us.
