Honoring Druid High's Fallen Athletes

I am Mason Bonner from the Druid High School graduating class of 1970. Druid High School was located in Tuscaloosa , Alabama and graduated their last class in 1979 and Alumni formed the Industrial/Druid Alumni Association after their first Grand Reunion in 2001.

A committee from the Association was formed in the summer of 2024 to commemorate the Druid High School student-athletes from Marshall University killed in the airplane crash with the entire Marshall University Football team. All four members of the team , Larry Sanders , Joe Hood , Robert Vanhorn , and Freddie Wilson are buried in the Cedar Oak Memorial Cemetery in Tuscaloosa and the committee received a quote to place memorial ledgers for each plater in the cemetery. This Go Fund Me account is developed to raise the $38,240.00 to pay for the ledgers.
