Honoring Edward Support for the Baublitz Family
Donation protected
Mr. Edward Emmanuel Baublitz has passed away at 2:47 PM on July 7th, 2024. He went into cardiac arrest. CPR was performed on him at the Baublitz’s home and the hospital for 1 hour. While his pulse came back at one point, they weren't able to keep it going. Though his health had been declining recently due to dementia, leukemia, and diabetes, his passing happened very suddenly.
Mr. Edward was a man of many names: Peepaw, Coach Blitz, Dad, Dewey, Ed, Brother, loving Husband, and so much more. He was an amazing man who worked as a Lineman for the IBEW traveling the United States for many years. He settled in South Florida working for FPL for 25 years. Those who knew him loved and even admired him. After working 16-hour days and nights, he was a coach at Pembroke Pines Optimist as well as McArthur High School. He made an outstanding impact on kids who have become men today. He even took kids into his own house to live so they could keep their grades up in order to play football. To others that weren't even officially family, especially his players that he coached throughout the years. As a Grandfather AKA Peepaw, he loved his grandkids more than anything, spoiled them tremendously. Mr. Edward was a loving husband, has been married to Rebecca Baublitz for 47 years and been soul mates ever since then. There is so much to say about this man, if you knew him, you already know what an amazing person he was. Please keep thoughts and prayers for the Baublitz family. He was the man, the myth, the legend... Dewey!
