Honoring Edwin Medina: Funeral Contributions

It is with a heavy heart that we share the news our beloved Edwin passed on November 15th, unexpectedly. We ask everyone to please respect the family’s privacy during this difficult moment. Edwin Medina was born in Mexico and became a Dreamer here in the United States, making Chicago, IL his home. Edwin was loving, dedicated, and hardworking. Edwin always had a smile on his face. His smile was contagious to everyone around him. Edwin's personality brought warmth and joy to everyone he encountered, he was greatly loved. Edwin will be missed dearly by family and friends. Edwin’s life was a blessing and memories will remain in our hearts forever.

Wake: Benson Family Funeral Home, 3224 W. Montrose Ave, Chicago, IL 60618 on November 24, 2024 from 4-9pm.

Service and Funeral: November 25th 10:30AM at Our Lady of Mercy, 4432 N. Troy St. Chicago, IL 60625.

For anyone able to contribute, you may do so here or in person during the wake for funeral arrangements. His mother and family would greatly appreciate it.

Con el corazón entristecido compartimos la noticia del fallecimiento inesperado de nuestro amado Edwin el 15 de Noviembre. Les pedimos por favor de respetar la privacidad de la familia en este momento dificil. Edwin Medina nacio en Mexico y se convirtio en un Dreamer aqui en Los Estados Unidos, haciendo de Chicago su hogar. Edwin era una persona cariñosa, dedicado, y trabajador. Edwin siempre tenia una sonrisa que contagiaba a todos a su alrededor. Su personalidad traía calidez y alegria a todos. Su presencia nos hará mucha falta. Su vida fue una bendicion y los recuerdos permanecerán en nuestros corazones para siempre.
