Honoring Elana: Help the Korey Family Heal
Donation protected
The Korey family extends an invitation for support as they navigate a devastating tragedy involving the loss of Elana. They are grateful for the thoughts, prayers, and outreach received.
Elana was an innocent passenger in a fatal, high-speed reckless car crash in the early morning hours of Sunday, July 28th, 2024, which was preventable. She was unjustly taken from her loving family just 1-week before beginning her junior year of college at the University of Arkansas.
The outpouring of love and support from friends, family, co-workers, and the community has been nothing short of amazing. Many have requested ways to support the family, therefore this page has been created.
Elana, comes from a diverse background, having lived in Marietta, Georgia, as well as Missouri, Texas, and Massachusetts. Elana had a deep love for animals and cherished her family, academics, and friendships. To be Elana’s friend meant having a friend for life. She was a dedicated student majoring in Communications at the University of Arkansas and a proud member of the Alpha Omicron Pi sorority. Elana was spending her summer college break back home in Duxbury, MA; enjoying time with her family, embracing beach sunsets on the Bay, boating, spending time with her loving dog Ollie, and ice cream stops just before returning to college.
All contributions will go directly to the immediate family and their wishes to honor Elana in the years to come including the establishment of a legacy foundation in Elana’s name.
