On February 29th, our sunshine Elizabeth Marek, passed away from her battle with metastatic cancer. Our family struggled significantly for the past 6 months with her health declining rapidly. Despite many hospital visits and tests during that time, it wasn’t until a week before her passing we were told that she had cancer… This has been a shock and devastating blow to our family.

Liz was truly the light of our lives and brought joy to everyone she met. We’ll be honoring her life this May and are reaching out to our community and network of loved ones to help raise money to cover those costs, medical costs, and miscellaneous costs we (Bill, Marisa, Bryan, and Olive) are left with.

At this time our focus is on celebrating the life she lived, but we will be investigating further into medical negligence with her health treatment. If you, or anyone you know has contacts to lawyers that could help our family please reach out to Marisa.
