HONORING EMILY GRACE WALKER
Donation protected
On March 7, 2021 the world lost beautiful Emily when she was in a terrible accident with her brother, Christopher in Tampa Florida.
Emily will be remembered for being unconditionally loving and having the warmest presence. Her fortitude and kindness were just unmatched and her creative soul seemed wise for 19 years old. She burned very bright and had a unique ability to make you feel seen, heard, and valued- and to make you laugh like a child!
Emily was an incredibly passionate artist and, growing up in Sea Girt NJ, a true blue beach baby. She studied film and cinematography and was an avid writer. She'd often be found drawing and painting or daydreaming fantastic ideas with her best friend, her sister Elizabeth. She was extraordinarily close with her siblings, who adoringly called her "little bird" or "boo", and with her parents and family, who are devastated without her.
Many wonderful friends and loved ones have reached out to the Walker Family during this time with a multitude of lovely ideas to honour Emily's life. Just a few of these ideas include a seaside wildflower garden, an educational fund, or an ocean focused initiative. The Walkers are so thankful and touched that Emily impacted so many lives around her. While they take this time to grieve, here is an initial outlet for those wishing to help in some way.
After the funeral services, the Walkers have every intention of collaborating with these wonderful friends to finalize an appropriate memorial plan. Please also feel welcome to share your memories of funny stories or heartfelt moments here.
