Honoring Emma's Life by Supporting Those She Loved

This past week, we suffered the tragic loss of our beloved Emma–cherished wife, mother, sister, daughter, and friend. A ray of sunshine to all of those who knew her, she brought joy, love, and radiant positivity to the countless lives she touched during her short time on this earth. As we make our preparations to lay her to rest, it is also necessary to make preparations to ensure that her husband and two boys are able to work through this tragedy in an appropriate fashion, unencumbered by the substantial financial hurdles awaiting them.

Our primary goal with this fundraiser is to provide the family with funds necessary to begin anew, offsetting financial concerns, and allowing the time to adjust to this great change and establish a new normal in life. Matt will need to take time away from work, and will no longer have a contributing spouse to help manage their bills and obligations. With a little help from those who loved Emma and her family, we can alleviate a significant area of hardship from their lives.

This starts by finding them a new home where they can have a fresh start, away from the tragic circumstances they were suddenly forced to bear. Funds will be used towards getting them out of their current residence that they wish not to return to, covering moving expenses, and allowing for funds needed to find a new home to embark on this new journey.

We invite all of those who knew her to join us in a Celebration of Life in Emma's honor on Thursday, February 13th at 6pm at Bayside Community Church - 8200 Bee Ridge Rd in Sarasota.

This fundraiser is being done on behalf of my son-in-law Matt and my two grandsons. The monies donated will go directly to Matt in order to offset expenses due to the loss of Emma.
