Honoring Evan James Weaver "The Boss"
Donation protected
Evan James Weaver, 8, of Shippensburg, PA has gone to be with Jesus as of Monday, October 30, 2023. Evan was wise beyond his years, and Tougher than the average grown man and earned himself the title “man child”. Evan was a lover of all things tractors and trucks, especially Ford diesel. His eyes and ears were always in tune for a black exhaust cloud and a turbo whistle.
From a young age he knew his way around a construction site, critiquing and dreaming of building homes with his Daddy; earning him yet a different title, “the boss”.
Evan held his head high and his heart close to his Lord as he endured radiation and chemotherapy after having a brain tumor removed in May of 2022. On July 5th, 2023, he rang the victory bell signifying the completion of treatment and being cancer-free for over a year; for which he triumphantly conquered beautifully. Only to be greeted by cancer again the very next day. Evan was a strong warrior and gave it his all. After his most recent, longest, shortest, and hardest battle Evan is finally able to find rest and play as a young child on the streets of heaven.
As you can imagine the family will have expenses far outside the cost of medical care. I am asking if your heart is led to help, please consider donating to this cause. As many of you know the hardest part for this family is still yet to come.
