Honoring Floyd Piper Jr. “Bub”: Funeral Support Needed

It is with tremendous grief and sadness that I have to create this go fund me for my Dad, Floyd Piper Jr., affectionately known as “Bub”, to assist with funeral expenses. He passed away suddenly at the age of 51 due to complications of an end stage diagnosis 6 months ago.

We are extremely grateful that our tribe, the Bishop Paiute Tribe, extends such a generous amount to assist with burial but we are finding that the costs are mounting.

Myself, Justice, and my sister, Janessa, are reaching out to ask for assistance with support to honor our Dad with a good send off.

Our Dad was silly, always making people around him laugh. He was strong and always made us feel secure. He taught us to believe in faith and perseverance. He was an important part of our large family and impacted so many people with his stories, knowledge and skills. He enjoyed playing the drums, lifting weights, and going to the gym to stay in shape. He loved playing sports and coaching his daughter and the youth in our community.

He was a man of God and followed and enjoyed sharing the Word. Bub was a father, son, brother, Togo, uncle, cousin, nephew, friend, and will be deeply missed and remembered by everyone that loved and knew him.
