Honoring Gabby Aldea

Donation protected
It is with a very heavy heart, that I share with you the passing of Gabby Aldea . Gabby died suddenly and unexpectedly sometime after she went to sleep, December 27th, 2020. She spent Christmas with her family at a cabin in the mountains of North Carolina. Her aunt asks for us to, "Hold her sweet heart close."
Gabby was an amazing writer. When she felt inspired, she wrote. When she was sad, she wrote. When she was angry, she wrote. She would write drafts over and over, but they never needed revision. She was brilliant.
Gabby was an activist. She had a bright future awaiting her in politics. She planned to major in political science at NSU, and was so insanely proud of her school. She would have been a DAMN good politician too, as she already organized campaigns, attended protests, and spoke in front of large groups about issues she was passionate about.
Gabby’s legacy will continue. If she could say anything, I’m sure she would say this: vote. She was so passionate about making sure everyone knew their power through their vote. Please, vote for leaders who want to help people like Gabby.

We're collecting money for her family during these exceptionally hard times.

On behalf of Gabby's family, I thank you for your support.
