Honoring Gaddy’s Life - GA LODD - Sept. 2 - Covid

Donation protected

Forest Park Fire and Emergency Services is in shock and devastated by the loss of our brother, FAO Paramedic Clay Gaddy, who died on Sept. 2nd, 2021 from Covid-19 complications. He served as a police officer for a few years until he got into his dream job, being a firefighter for the State of Ga! He was with our department for a total of 12 years. 11 of those years he spent on A shift, and his last call took place while serving with C shift. Gaddy had a passion to serve others, and regardless of the time of day or night, or the type of call that came in, he was the most respectful, kind, and gentle hearted member of our crew. He loved to teach others, became a mentor to many, and was diligently working towards becoming a full time member of the Fire Marshall’s office. As amazing as he was to our brothers and sisters, he was even more amazing at home. Clay leaves behind his wife, Kriss, his children, Tyler, Amber, Morgan and Caleb, his grandchildren, his sister Michelle and brothers Brad and Scott.

Clay asked his wife Kriss to stay home after her previous job of 10 years. So for now, let’s help ease her mind so that she can be able to grieve and to help ensure her youngest child gets counseling and medical attention as needed, so that they can get their lives together again.  She went from having an income that was able to pay all the bills, including the purchase of a new home one year ago, to having no income and the memory of her best friend passing away in her arms.

Please join us as we work to support Clay’s family and honor his life. All funds raised will go directly to Gaddy’s family.
