Honoring Gary Gibson's Life After Tragedy

My father, Gary Gibson, was selfishly murdered by his girlfriend on March 30th, 2025. The house was set fire causing his personal belongings to be damaged, leaving me with nothing but memories to hold close to me. This time has been very difficult for me, our family, and friends. It was a shock to me at such a young age that I would lose my dad so harshly, and gain the strength to write this and bury him. Everytime you'd speak to Gary, he wouldn't fail to make you laugh. He continued to stay full of life and optimism despite all the obstacles he faced, and that will forever inspire me. I am my father's only child, and my dad was also a grandfather to my 7 month old son, which he never got to meet. My father also loved to breed dogs. 4 dogs innocently lost their lives as well. The other 3 dogs were sent to the Humane Society. I plan to use this GoFundMe as a way to give my father the memorial that he deserves, and raise awareness for domestic violence as well as mental health. Anything helps, and we are extremely thankful for all the support given to us during this time.
