Honoring Gary W. Thompson -Scholarship Fund

Recently, we lost our father/grandfather/husband, Gary W. Thompson, after a 12-year-long battle against cancer. He was a huge supporter of jobs in trades, and close to his heart in particular was the diesel mechanic and automotive technician industry. He worked from age 18 to 55 in the diesel mechanic trade for various companies like International Harvester, Strickland Transport, Transcon, Roadway Express, and was a Teamster with Local Union #776. In his honor, we are establishing the Gary W. Thompson Memorial Scholarship Fund, aimed at supporting aspiring automotive technicians and mechanics in their pursuit of careers in the automotive industry.

By contributing to the scholarship fund, you will be helping provide financial assistance to students who share Gary’s passion for automotive technology. Your donation will go directly towards covering tuition fees, purchasing tools and equipment, and any other educational expenses for deserving students.
