Honoring Glenna Krebs: Support Her Legacy & Funeral Expenses
Donation protected
At the age of 89, our beloved instructor of The Toppers and beautiful
woman whom we all know as Miss Glenna (Glenna Krebbs) passed from this life into the arms of her heavenly father. She touched so many people’s lives through The Toppers teaching us all great commitment, compassion, dedication, teamwork, friendship and just plainly how to love well. We will forever be grateful to her and her family. It is for this reason that we would like to be able to help the family with some of the funeral expenses.
If you would like to contribute, donate, or help, it would be greatly
appreciated and recognized not only by The Topper family but by everyone who loved her. ❤️
Let me introduce you to a lady who helped many children from all over this state, Glenna Krebs. She started a small group in the back of her house in the alley, and they grew to a size she didn't expect. This group would bring people running in to see these kids perform. We stood proud to hear the announcer say... Toppers, you may take the floor. We won the Baltimore Area Championship so many times we retired from that competition. We went on to win many Maryland State Championships, Eastern Regional Championships, and National World Championships. The Toppers won these titles in two different associations: NBTA and USTA. Because of Miss Glenna, if you meet any of these kids, you will see confidence, strength, and good posture. Glenna had a pair of lungs on her. At practice, if you were out of line... you knew it. We would practice at the armory for 12 hours... 10 to 10. This is how we grew up, in gyms and armories around Baltimore. We loved it, we breathed it, and ask us... we'll do it again. We have a saying... Once a Topper... Always a Topper. We lost a great lady today, and so many of her kids are so much better for her. God bless Glenna Krebs.
