Worst Naval Sea Disaster Ever! Last Survivor…

Tax deductible
The Harold Bray, Veterans, and USS Indianapolis Monument.

Please help us pay tribute to the last sole survivor of the worst sea disaster in U.S. Naval History with a historical monument in his hometown, Benicia, CA!

During WWII, when USS Indianapolis (CA-35) was struck by two Japanese torpedoes, about 330 of her crew were lost with the ship, and the rest--some 860 men--were left alone in the Pacific in the middle of the night. For the next 5 days, without food or water, the crew battled the elements, dodged shark attacks, and clung to life as best they could.

Her sinking led to the greatest single loss of life at sea in the history of the U.S. Navy. Of the 1,195 sailors and marines on board, only 316 survived. Hundreds of men lost their lives to shark attacks for five nights and four days, including salt poisoning, dehydration, injuries, and exposure!

The sinking of the USS Indianapolis (CA-35) was the greatest sea disaster in the history of the United States Navy. But not before completing its 10th and last mission to help end WWII.

With YOUR donation, you are helping to preserve the military legacy and honoring the Harold Bray, USS Indianapolis, and all of America's Veterans who serve and fought for our freedom! They deserve recognition for their perseverance, bravery, and service to our country.

Donations will be used for the life-size bronze statue of Harold Bray, Veterans, and USS Indianapolis Monument, scholarships, and grants.

Our goal is to tell the story of the camaraderie and bravery of the soldiers defending our freedom to as many young adults as possible.

With your support, we can start...all donations are appreciated!
