Honoring Hector Martinez: Funeral Fund

Hector Martinez was not only a devoted husband and father to 3 kids, but a father to many. The first person to always place himself second and help anybody that needed it with no hesitation. Hector was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer in 2021 when a ct scan revealed he had a mass the size of a lemon growing in his pancreas. Unknowingly he had actually been dealing with this cancerous mass as far back as 2018. The mass remained incapsulated and never spread anywhere. When diagnosed the oncologist said to him “You’re a very blessed man, 80% of people that come with your story its too late for any kind of treatment”. He went through rounds of the most intense chemo they had to offer before operating on the mass which turned out to be a successful operation. Unfortunately the cancer returned and he was re-diagnosed with cancer in late 2023.

[True to his diligent character, he continued working throughout as much as he could and would only take 1-2 days to recover from his chemo when absolutely necessary.]

A true testament to who he was as a man. No matter what, he would always find a way to work and be active. Heaven called Hector to come home on Nov 23 2024. We’re happy to say he passed in the most peaceful way possible, after the rosary and surrounded by his loved ones. Hector is survived by his 3 children and wife. The funds raised will be used for his funeral services. We would like to take time to thank every single one of you that donate/share to his cause & a huge thank you to everyone that blessed him with years of friendship and love. While physically he has moved on, his soul / legacy will live on forever.
