CELEBRATING ILEANA: A LIFE OF CAREGIVING, STRENGTH, AND LOVE
With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of our beloved Ileana Simpatico. Some of you may have known her as Elaine, Tití Elaine, or T. She was so much more than a devoted Catholic, daughter, wife, sister, aunt, and friend. She was the only ally anyone ever needed. Fiercely loyal, deeply caring, fun-loving, and compassionate, she was a woman of faith who devoted her life to the health and well-being of those she loved.
For over 25 years, she cared for her mother, Teresa, with unwavering dedication, embodying selflessness and strength, which was remarkable and inspiring.
She was a kind woman who would light up a room, laugh out loud and dance all night. tWhether it was through her fun and feisty personality, her endless generosity, or her deep care for others, she left an unforgettable mark on everyone she met.
As we say goodbye, it is our greatest wish to lay her to rest near her mother, Teresa, and her brother, Jose, keeping her close to the family she loved and cared for so deeply. To do so, we are asking for your support to help cover funeral and burial expenses.
Every donation, no matter what size, will bring us closer to honoring her memory in the way she deserves. If you are unable to donate, sharing this page with others would mean so much to us.
Thank you for helping us honor Ileana, a remarkable woman with an amazing laugh, who gave so much to her family and everyone around her.
Please join us as we lay her to rest and celebrate her life.

We are forever grateful for your love, support, and prayers.
On behalf of the Simpatico/Gonzalez family, we extend our deepest gratitude for your kindness, support, and generosity during this difficult time.
We understand that most of her family and friends will not be able to attend her funeral tomorrow. Please know that your love and care mean just as much, and we are deeply thankful for it. We also recognize the many friends and neighbors who supported her when she was no longer able to care for herself, and we are forever grateful for the compassion you showed her.
In attendance tomorrow, representing the family:
• Vincent Simpatico: Her devoted and loving caregiver, who stood by her side until her passing. A husband of 45 years and her lifelong companion.
• Tony Gonzalez: Her brother, who provided care and comfort and was present with her in her final moments.
Your love for her is felt, even from afar.
With heartfelt and infinite appreciation, may she rest in peace.
