Honoring James and Supporting the Wagner family

* The family will receive friends on Wednesday, July 26, from 4:00 until the time of service at 6:00pm at Riddle Funeral Home, 5345 South Street in Vermilion.

James Wagner Jr passed away unexpectedly on July 18th at just 18 years old. No parent plans to bury their child, so unfortunately the family is not financially prepared to arrange a funeral for James. His Uncle Eddie and I are asking for donations to help cover the costs associated with his service and burial so that James Sr can grieve without the added stress of this financial burden.

Please consider donating, as any amount will help during this difficult time. If you are unable to donate, please share and keep the family in your prayers.

James Jr showed an interest in joining the military after high school so any leftover funds will go to Mission 22 - a non-profit organization that raises awareness of veteran suicide.

Update: we have surpassed our goal and will be able to arrange a funeral for James! More info on that soon. We will leave the fundraiser up for a few more days for anyone who would still like to donate. All of the extra funds will be donated in James's name to the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention as well as Mission 22 and/or 22aday.org.
