Honoring Jane Ench: Adopt a Central Park Bench
Donation protected
Many of our cherished memories of our mother, Jane Ench, are intertwined with her love of nature and her passion for teaching. An avid reader and dedicated educator, she often found solace in serene environments where she could reflect and gather her thoughts. Central Park was one of those special places for her.
As a teacher, Jane touched the lives of many with her wisdom, kindness, and boundless enthusiasm for learning. She had a unique ability to inspire her students, encouraging them to see the beauty in the world around them and always to seek knowledge.
In honor of our mother’s memory and her legacy as a teacher, we are raising funds to adopt a bench in Central Park. This bench will serve as a place where friends, family, and students can sit, reflect, and find inspiration, much like she did throughout her life. It will be a spot to remember her wisdom, gentle spirit, and profound impact on all who knew her.
The cost to adopt a bench in Central Park is $10,000. If we don't reach that amount, your donations will be returned. Any contribution, no matter the size, is greatly appreciated. Jane would never have wanted anyone to feel pressured, so give only if you feel moved to do so.
