Honoring JB and Supporting Sama
Donation protected
John Bender Jr., better known as JB, passed away on July 31 at 68 years old. He was one in a million.
JB was a celebrated tattoo artist for most of his life and had a deep passion for his craft. He also loved baseball, antique cars and most of all, his family. I was lucky enough to experience that firsthand for almost four decades.
JB wasn't just my stepdad, he was my father, and he taught me everything I needed to know about being a man. That included the importance of taking care of those we love -- most of all for him, his wife Sama. My mom.
JB wasn't just her husband, he was her perfect partner and protector. As she moves forward after such an unimaginable loss, I'm here to ask for help on her behalf.
All funds small or large will go toward finalizing JB's memorial service, scheduled for Aug. 23 at 6 p.m. at Evans Funeral Home, any associated fees and my mom's next steps in life. All warm wishes and assistance are so very appreciated.
