It is with profound sadness that we share the passing of our beloved Jennifer Koue. To know Jen was to experience pure light—she radiated warmth, kindness, and positivity everywhere she went. Jen embodied love, compassion, and joy in every part of her life. She was laughter and light, a beautiful soul who touched everyone who crossed her path.

Jen was deeply passionate about her work as a doula and was tirelessly studying to become a midwife, dedicated to bringing new life into the world. She was almost at the finish line of her studies, with dreams of helping mothers and babies in the most tender moments. Every child she helped deliver was dear to her, and she cared for each family as if they were her own.

On the morning of Tuesday, November 12, 2024, Jen was on her way to work when tragedy struck. She was involved in a collision with a semi-truck and, despite the efforts to save her, Jen passed away shortly after reaching the hospital. Her family, friends, and loved ones are still reeling from the sudden loss of such a vibrant and loving person.

Many have reached out, asking how they can help during this painful time. In response, we’ve set up this GoFundMe to support Jen’s homegoing and celebration of life. This fund will help honor Jen’s memory in the way she deserves, surrounded by the love she so freely gave to others.
