On Sunday, July 21, 2024, Jerrell sat alone in his bedroom all day and evening. Around 9 pm, 22 year-old Jerrell decided to take a walk to the store. Instead, Jerrell walked into a shootout between two different groups of people and was fatally wounded within seconds of leaving his home.

Most times, Jerrell was a very meek soul, yet for balance, the man is an author of a few books and a rapper. Jerrell is loved by all his family and loves all his family.

As we, the family, come to terms with the unexpected transition of our beloved, Jerrell Rogers, Jr., our family is in need to give him a homegoing fit for a King.
