Honoring Jerry Mander

Friends of Jerry -

Our beloved friend, intellectual mentor, and paradigm warrior, Jerry Mander, passed away on Tuesday, April 11th. He was buried in a local cemetery in Hawaii, walking distance from the family home of his wife and caregiver, Koohan, where he spent the final year of his life.

Many of you have suggested a memorial to Jerry - live and/or over zoom - and in good time, I am sure there will be many gatherings to honor Jerry and keep alive his penchant for getting really great people together for really great gatherings.

In the meantime, there is something we can all do now: help fund a headstone for Jerry's grave. The design will echo Jerry's highly identifiable graphic style, expressed in all his books and ads. Jerry would approve! It'll cost $7000 for the stones, engraving and installation.

Let's all pitch in and make this headstone gift from the big beautiful community that Jerry wove together and impacted so deeply over so many years.
