Honoring Johnnie: Invest in Skilled Trade Success
Donation protected
Let me tell you about our dad, Johnnie J. Rubenacker. He was one of a kind, the most selfless man we have ever known. His family was his world, his biggest source of pride and joy. Unfortunately we lost our rock, our hero, on Sept. 25th, after a short battle with pancreatic cancer. One of Johnnie's biggest joys, aside from his family, was teaching skilled trades courses (metallurgy & machine shop theory) for Career & Technical Education (CTE) students out of Clare-Gladwin RESD. He loved being a champion for all learners, and was quickly loved by his students and coworkers alike. We have a goal of raising money, in Johnnie's memory, for CTE students. All proceeds will go to skilled trades CTE students for clothing, equipment, and tools. We can think of no better way to honor our father than to provide resources to support students as they embark in their skilled trades career. Any and all donations will be greatly appreciated.
