Honoring John's Legacy: Support Our Cause

Dear Family and Friends,

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved John "Johnny Pine" Kimber, Sr on September 22, 2024. Born and raised in Chester, PA, he never left Chester behind, equally sharing his love for the DMV and Chester. Moving on to Lincoln University his induction into Kappa Alpha Psi Inc was life-changing for him, a brotherhood of proud, successful, determined African American men impacted the rest of his life immensely and led to a life of committed public service to Lincoln University where he served as SGA President, the Epsilon Chapter of Kappa where he served as Polemarch, he also touched and helped countless members of the community through his work with NCCF (National Center for Children & Families) and Catholic Charities of Washington, DC. John was a pillar of his community as well as a loving and kind soul to anyone that he came into contact with. The family is asking for donations to help with burial and funeral expenses. John Kimber was the type of man that always took care of others; if he couldn't personally do it, he would find someone that could. So as the family navigates through this trying time, we humbly thank you in advance for any amount that you can give.
