Honoring Jonathan by helping Vicky and Dante

 Dear friends and family members of Jonathan,

It is with great sadness that we have had create this page and write this message. As some of you are aware or are now finding out, Jon was ill and hospitalized with Covid-19 since July 26th. This painful journey began while Jon and his family were on the vacation of their dreams. During the trip, Jon started running a long fever and experiencing breathing trouble severe enough to be brought to a hospital for attention. Once there, he was confirmed to have contracted Covid-19 delta variant and began his lengthy stay at the hospital in New Mexico. Jon’s situation from that point began deteriorating to the point where Jon required a medically-induced coma, intubation, and transfer to a more advanced hospital. He was in the care of a remarkable team, and even though far from home, received great care.

Jon was an outright fighter and the last person in the world to give up, even to such a devastating virus. His fight wasn't enough to keep him with us and he peacefully passed on August 24th.

The focus and center of Jon’s world were his son, Dante, and his wife, Vicki, who as you can imagine, are in shock and have the impossible task of putting the pieces of their lives back together. Although this tragedy has affected all of Jon’s family and friends, none more so than Dante and Vicki. It is for them, that this page has been created. Monies collected through this effort will go directly to Dante and Vicki to cushion the financial transition they are facing.
