It is with profound sadness that we share the Tragic news of the sudden passing of our bellowed brother, Juan Carlos Cruz has journeyed to his eternal rest on May 14, 2024. He was the ultimate family man, a loving husband, and a dedicated father to his three wonderful children. Juan’s heart was vast, and his spirit was larger than life. His unexpected departure has left an immeasurable void in our lives and in the hearts of everyone who knew him.

Juan was a man of many roles and talents. By day, he excelled as a true professional in HVAC for over 20 years, always exceeding expectations and earning respect in his field. But it was his roles outside of work that truly defined him. He was an incredibly involved father, particularly passionate about his two young sons’ baseball endeavors. Whether coaching, cheering, or practicing with them, Juan’s energy and enthusiasm were boundless.

Beyond his dedication to his family, Juan was a beacon of joy and laughter. His constant unfiltered jokes and infectious humor could brighten any room, and he had a unique gift for making friends everywhere he went. If you had the fortune of meeting my brother Juan, you would instantly feel like you had known him your entire life. His presence was magnetic, and his ability to connect with others was unparalleled.

Juan leaves behind his devoted wife, his three children who were his pride and joy, his loving parents, and his cherished siblings. His loss reverberates not only through our immediate family but also through a wider community that stretches across counties. Juan touched countless lives, and his absence is deeply felt by the community he built through sports, academia and everyone in between.
