Honoring Julie Elizabeth Brooks
Donation protected
March is Colorectal Cancer Awareness Month. I could not be more aware of Colorectal Cancer as it is the disease that took my sister Julie Elizabeth’s life. March is also her Birthday.
6 years ago I celebrated my sister’s birthday with her for the last time. Just weeks later, she was gone.
I’ve spoken so many times about how amazing my sister was for so many reasons, but the thing she was the most amazing at was being a mom. I swore to her on her last birthday that I would always try to take care of her kids, and have dedicated each year on her birthday to raising them some money so that they can possibly have a brighter future. Nothing, and no one can replace their mother, or the security that only a mother’s love and presence can provide, but I do hope that by providing them a little financial security they can, perhaps, stress less and live more.
If you are able to donate anything, anything at all, it will go directly into the trust funds I set up for them 6 years ago. If you can not donate, please, consider sharing this fund as each share may bring more donations.
Honoring my sister’s memory is all I can give her on her birthday and I know the honor of her life was being the mama to Isabelle, Ariana, Eli, and Adam.
Thank you in advance. And, please, stay on top of your colorectal health.
XO,
Celia
