Honoring Julie Maldonado's Bright Spirit

Hello, my name is yari and my sweet Mami ,Julie Maldonado, lost her life on August 24th. She was having the time of her life on her bike when a drunk driver took her from us. She was a force, a powerful soul. I know people always say the cheesy “her smile lit up a room” but hers actually did. My heart aches to know me and my brothers will never feel her warm embrace again. My brothers are still very young and this hit them hard. She is light, she is a firecracker, she is love. She made friends everywhere she went, if you were alone she would sit next to you and become your new friend. I guess that’s where I get it from. My Mami was only 43 and we were not expecting to lose her so soon. She loved her family and friends so much. My Mami was made of sunshine, glitter, hello kitty, and smiles. Anything anyone can donate to make sure her service is even half as spectacular as she was will be greatly appreciated.
