Honoring Julio Santiago: Support His Burial

Donation protected
Hello everyone, I’m Julia Rosado, one of Julio’s daughters.

Julio Santiago aka, Jay, JC, Ceasar, viejo, and Babu passed away peacefully in his home on August 31, 2024. Our dad was a light on dark days. He loved to laugh, makes jokes and share stories about “the good ol’ days”. His love for music was like no other. He was talented when it came to playing different instruments but his favorite was playing the congas. Our dad was an avid bicyclist and would always tell us about his bike rides up Hill street all the way down 69 to New Haven. He enjoyed playing pool, dominoes, watching NASCAR but his true love was playing handball. He truly enjoyed playing handball, mentoring and teaching the new generation how to play and love the sport the way he did. Most of all he loved spending time with his family and friends. Our dad didn’t have much but he would always be willing to help anyone he could with what little he had. We are now kindly asking for the same in return. If possible, we would be eternally grateful for any contributions and donations towards giving our dad a proper burial.

We thank you all so much in advance.
