Honoring Justin's Legacy, Supporting His Family
Donation protected
Phill Hays here, writing a post I never thought I would have to write. We lost Coffman, Justin Coffman, to a four-wheeler accident on Saturday, April 12th. Just a simple task of loading his four-wheeler turned into a tragedy.
Justin Coffman, a man of many words. A friend to many, a stranger to no one. The guy I leaned on to help me write a post like this one here. He was a walking thesaurus of alternate phrases. He had a way with words that no one could hold a candle to. I’ve watched this high school kid work his summers away at Splash Down, this wispy-haired guy work his way through college at a swim gym, once having to resuscitate a child that had drowned, and watched this man work his way up through Halmac.
Watched that same man turn into a wonderful husband to Becca Coffman, then watched his greatest feat of turning into a father to Vera Coffman. Justin Coffman was the epitome of “If there is a will, there is a way.” He didn’t give up; he bucked up. I sit here selfishly wanting him to still be here. Selfishness wasn’t something Coffman was at all; he yearned to provide for someone, to provide for his wife, his child, to provide for his family. Coffman no longer can do what he strived for his whole life. So this is me asking for something Justin Coffman would never ask, but to just one time help provide a little safety net for this family he made and cared so much about. Anything helps, a shoulder for this family to lean on, a donation here, or a prayer. Justin is already dearly missed! Please keep Becca and Vera in your thoughts and prayers in the days to come.
