Honoring Katie Owens: Memorial Support

On August 19th, 2024, Mary ‘Katie’ Owens passed away. She was born on March 4, 1994, in Fort Polk, Louisiana, to Joseph Owens and Maria Owens. Katie was raised by her father and his wife, Stacey, with the loving support of her grandmother, the late Pat Owens, and her three aunts, Janet Wehland, Cathy Klimovitz, and Carole Mann.

Katie has lived in various parts of the United States for thirty years and has friends throughout the world. Her laughter was infectious, her sense of humor extraordinary, and her heart mammoth.

She is survived by numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and other loving family members and friends. She was preceded in death by her brother, Kristopher Owens, and her grandparents.

A public visitation will be held at the family owned Ambrose Funeral Home, 1328 Sulphur Spring Rd., Arbutus on Saturday, August 24th from 11 AM to 1 PM. A funeral service will begin at 1 PM. Cremation will be held privately at a later time.
