Honoring Katrina: Building a Meditation Garden for Survivors
Donation protected
Katrina Giles loved to sit in the garden and be at peace. She loved the plants and beauty of flowers. Even inside of prison, she tried to make things grow. Even though she had survived so much trauma, she tried to bring sunshine to those around her-- and well over 100 people wrote letters in support of her release. In her last days, she still was smiling and thinking of everyone around her.
In memory of Katrina, we would like to build a meditation garden. It will hopefully be for inside of a women's prison, where Katrina would have wanted. If that is not possible, we will build it in the community. Please consider donating to make this possible.
