Honoring Keagan's Legacy:
Supporting His Family while Supporting Others through Mental Health & Suicide…

Dear Friends and Supporters,

We are heartbroken to share that our beloved little brother Keagan Lee passed away on Friday, March 3rd, 2023, after losing his battle with depression and PTSD. Keagan was the light of our lives, our youngest sibling, and our baby. He was always happy, playing pranks, and cracking jokes. He looked for ways to spread kindness to others, never passing judgment, and always looking for opportunities to help the sad, meek, and lonely.

Keagan was a LPN at a nursing center, working the night shift and helping the elderly pass on to their next chapter. He provided comfort and companionship to those who didn't have as many visitors as they should. Nobody would be alone on Keagan’s watch and he made extra effort to be that person for those around him. In October of 2021, Keagan had a break that he never recovered from. Despite our best efforts to convince him of his worth and value, he couldn't see what we saw in him.

We know that Keagan is in Heaven with Jesus and has never been happier. But here on Earth, we are left with the crushing weight of his loss and a financial burden we did not expect. As Keagan's family, we are grieving his loss and could use your help during this difficult time.

We are raising funds to support our family and Keagan’s extended family in any way possible, whether it's covering travel expenses to attend the funeral, funeral expenses themselves, or providing counseling services as needed. Our goal in setting up this GoFundMe is to ensure we are providing the financial support needed to navigate this difficult time. Any contribution helps and is greatly appreciated.

After these expenses, the family would like to continue Keagan's passion for helping others in his honor as well as to donate a portion of the funds raised to mental health organizations that support suicide prevention. While this touches our family personally, we recognize it touches so many more and anything that we can do to prevent others from suffering as Keagan did and help raise awareness about mental health is a priority for us.

Please join us in honoring Keagan's legacy and supporting his family and continuing his mission to help others. Together, we can make a difference and help prevent another tragedy like this from happening. Keagan's legacy will live on through the positive impact we can make in his memory so thank you in advance for your support.

Thank you for your prayers and support,
Cody, Kayla, and Becky
