Honoring My Brother’s Memory

My name is Amia Manu Bird, and I’m reaching out to you during a difficult time. On 06/24/2024, my beloved brother, Lau Siu Tuua Manu tragically lost his life in a devastating minibus crash near Mildura, Victoria. His passing has left an irreplaceable void in our lives, but we want to celebrate the beautiful soul he was.

Our brother was more than a brother; he was our rock, our laughter, and our unwavering support and my Mom's solid right hand in the family. As a devoted husband to his beautiful wife Naito Manu, and father, he cherished his family above all else. His three children, Raylena 15, John 13 and Moe 5, were the light of his life. He worked tirelessly at home, and while in Australia providing for his family and ensuring they had a better future. I remember growing up, so many of our village teenagers gather at your house just to hang out with Siu. They knew he's always eager to listen to them without judgement. He is known in the village as gentle giant, because he's humble, loving, kind and always willing to lend a helping hand. My heart aches for his wife and children.

In memory of Lau Siu, we’ve set up this GoFundMe campaign. The funds raised will go towards supporting his grieving wife and children during this difficult time. It will also help bring him home and funeral expenses. Whether it’s covering immediate expenses, education costs, or creating a lasting tribute, every contribution matters.
