Honoring Liew Feuy Saechao: Support for Funeral Expenses
Donation protected
With heavy hearts, we share the passing of our beloved aunt, Liew Feuy Saechao, who left us on March 28, 2025, at the age of 69. Born on February 22, 1956, in Laos, she was a daughter, sister, aunt, cousin, and friend. More importantly, she stepped into the roles of mother and grandmother to our family, offering unconditional love until the very end.
Despite being born with intellectual disabilities, Auntie Liew dedicated her entire life to caring for others. Though she never had children of her own, she played a key role in raising her niece and nephews, and later, their children—two generations who were shaped by her warmth and generosity. She also had a deep love for animals and gardening, tending to both with the same tenderness she showed our family. She brought joy to everyone around her, always ready with a smile, a helping hand, and a laugh that could brighten any room.
After suffering a stroke in 2023, her health slowly declined, and she was later diagnosed with dementia. As her memory faded and she lost the ability to control her motor functions, she became fully dependent on others for care—which became a shared effort within the family. Despite these challenges, her loving nature remained. She passed away peacefully, surrounded by the family she had devoted her life to, leaving behind a legacy of love and sacrifice that will never be forgotten.
As we come together to honor her memory, we are seeking support to help with funeral and ceremony expenses so we can give her the peaceful crossing she deserves. Any contribution, no matter how small, would mean so much to our family during this difficult time. If you’re unable to make a donation, we would be deeply grateful if you could help by sharing this page with others. We appreciate your kindness and generosity. Thank you.
With gratitude,
The Chao Family
